ABOUT US

MERLIN GALLERY

Opened in September 2014

Merlin Gallery was officially opened in September 2014 with two dedicated arts spaces in Singapore’s bustling city area that act as platforms for young, up-and-coming, and distinguished artists to exhibit their works and engage in creative discourse with the public.

Since then, we have endeavoured to nurture and raise awareness for deserving artists and instil and develop a sense of appreciation for art, particularly amongst the younger generation, through art exhibitions and art education programmes such as artist workshops and talks. Merlin Gallery functions as a platform for bridging the gap between the public and the existing arts community, comprising art practitioners such as artists, curators, and historians.

PURPOSE

Merlin Gallery endeavours to nurture and raise awareness for deserving artists and instil and develop a sense of appreciation for art, particularly amongst the younger generation, through art exhibitions and art education programmes such as artist workshops and talks.

We are a platform for bridging the gap between the public and the existing arts community, comprising art practitioners such as artists, curators, and historians.

GIVING BACK

Merlin Gallery contributes to the local arts community by supporting young artists and arts students, the architects of our future arts landscape.

To this end, the opening of our arts space at Waterloo Street in 2015 has made our gallery more easily accessible to the students and art practitioners who frequently patronise the area.
